Pingtan fish noodles

Different from ordinary noodles which are made of flour, Pingtan fish noodles are made of croaker and mackerel meat, which makes them extremely tender and soft. The addition of some seasonings like pepper, scallion and shrimp when cooking can further highlight its umami flavor.

In addition to local food, there are also a dazzling array of Taiwan snacks on offer, such as oyster omelet and herbal jelly.

The event, mainly sponsored by Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone's bureau of economic development and Pingtan Party Working Committee's office of Taiwan affairs, aims at furthering cultural communications between Pingtan and Taiwan.
