Fujian radio and television stations pledged on Oct 26 to offer technical and networking support to Pingtan radio and television station to strongly promote the island city as an international tourism destination.

The announcement came at the recent 2016 meeting of Fujian city television stations for cooperation in news production.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in the fields of news production and the promotion and publicity for Pingtan's tourism sector.
