More than 30 human resources (HR) professionals attended a salon at the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone in Fujian province on Sept 1, to exchange ideas on how to attract, better use, and retain talents.

HR expert, Yan Yilei, shared his experience in HR management, and brainstormed with attendees about the different ways to recruit staff.

Ren Fengqin, the head of the HR department of a local tourism company, considered the salon a good platform where people can share experiences and learn from each other.

The event was a step forward in exchanges and cooperation among Pingtan HR professionals. It also provided local companies with suggestions on talent recruitment and retention, said Liu Hailong, head of Pingtan branch of China Strait Talent Market, an organizer of the event.
