Pingtan scenic spots focus on infrastructure improvements

The Aoqian Taiwan Town, formerly known as Pingtan-Taiwan Duty-Free Commodity Market, mainly displays and sells Taiwan specialties such as food, cooking oil, meat, clothing, handicrafts and medicine. The town has attracted Taiwan's flagship stores, creative cultural products, international designer brands and tourism programs. It was rated as a 3A national scenic spot last December.

The market has improved its services by building more parking spaces, exhibition pavilions and facilities for visitors to rest. It also rolled out a better service guideline and management system to promote itself as a place with good order and high-quality services.
