Located near Junshan Mountain, Beigang village, formerly a rustic fishing village has been transformed into a hub for creative culture in Pingtan.

Some stone houses built during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) have been renovated into unique homestays integrating cultural elements from Taiwan, drawing in a raft of visitors each year.
