Makers of an online marketplace selling quality products from Taiwan announced its launch on Oct 12.

A group of 11 Taiwan-based merchants signed cooperation deals with Taipingou, the e-commerce project, on the day. The platform now has more than 200 products available for sale, having selected them from thousands of others.

By collaborating with the duty-free market in Pingtan, Taipingou offers quality products at reasonable prices.

The online marketplace is the result of collaboration between the Pingtan government, Fujian Linca Group's e-commerce subsidiary and the Fujian cross-border e-commerce co.

Linca Group started out as a real estate developer and diversified its business lines in recent years to cover commercial property management, logistics and e-commerce.

Fujian cross-border e-commerce co is the first of its kind in the province and is registered inside the free trade area in Pingtan.
