A high technology company from Central China’s Hubei province is looking for business opportunities in Pingtan, Fujian province, local news portal ptnet.cn reported.

"Pingtan has enormous potential and is making strides in infrastructure," said Zhang Rubin, deputy manager of the Wuhan-based East Lake High-tech Group Co. "With more preferential policies from the Central authorities there is no doubt that it will witness a boom in industrial development."

The company is optimistic about Pingtan's future and interested in jointly building high-tech parks with the city, he said in a meeting with Li Dejin, secretary of the Pingtan Party Working Committee.

Pingtan boasts a number of favorable policies and has basic conditions for accommodating more industries, and will strive to provide better service for enterprises, said Li.
