A delegation of entrepreneurs from Shanghai paid a visit to the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) in Fujian province on June 16 to investigate its development, reported local news portal ptnet.cn.

The visit was organized by the Fujian Provincial Government’s Shanghai office, and led by Sa Zhishen, the office’s director.

In a meeting with local officials, Sa said the Office has always cared about Pingtan’s development and it has set up a team for promoting Pingtan’s business prospects in Shanghai.

Shanghai boasts advanced city management methods which can definitely inspire Pingtan, said Li Dejin, director of the PCPZ’s administrative committee.

Li hoped that Pingtan and Shanghai can cooperate in finance, cultural creativity and publication, and explore a “Shanghai-Pingtan-Taiwan” international logistics channel.
