The RSEA Engineering Corporation hopes to engage in more infrastructure upgrades in Pingtan and collaborate with local companies for more projects, said Ou Laicheng, the company’s board chairman.

The Taiwan-based company settled in Pingtan in 2012, when full-scale infrastructure construction was just about to take off. It later set up a joint venture – a concrete producing company – with a local enterprise.

RSEA Engineering has witnessed the fast development of Pingtan over the years, and is optimistic about its future as it is now part of the Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone, said Ou.

RSEA Engineering was among the first wave of enterprises coming to Pingtan, and has made a name as a top construction company. Pingtan will provide better service in the future, said Li Dejin, director of the Pingtan’s administrative committee.
