The local tax bureau in the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone in Fujian province collected 267 million yuan in taxes in February, which is 39.8 million yuan more, or an increase of 17.5 percent, from January.

The month-on-month tax income growth in Pingtan has now claimed the top place twice in a row among 10 cities in Fujian province, said the bureau.
