Pingtan-Taiwan commodity fair to return on Oct 25

The second Pingtan-Taiwan Commodity Fair will be held in Pingtan from Oct 25 to 28, the Fair’s organizers announced.

It will be hosted by the Association for the Promotion of Cross-Strait Exchange of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, and will be located at the duty-free Taiwan Commodity Market in Aoqian town.

The Fair will feature folk characteristics of a street market in Taiwan, with about 320 booths exhibiting more than 1,000 special Taiwan products including fruit, vegetables, aquatic products, alcohol, small articles and so on. There will be another 30 booths for international luxuries and 50 for snacks.

In addition, a series of Taiwanese folk performances, such as lion dancing and Santaizi dancing will be staged during the Fair, according to its organizers.
